Jeff Delegato - Principal
Jeff Delegato received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology and his Masters in Special Education
from Portland State University. He taught high school for 11 years in both the Beaverton School District and Lake Oswego School District. He has spent the last three years as Principal of St. Agatha Catholic School. Mr. Delegato's passion and calling is to work with kids of all ages, from elementary age through high school. He loves sports and is passionate about football. He played competitively through high school and college and coached at the high school level for 13 years. He loves spending time at the beach with his family, which includes his wife Amy, his two sons John and Robert, along with his dog Jack.
Father Nathan Zodrow - Parish Administrator
Father Nathan Zodrow, OSB, made first vows as a Benedictine monk of Mount Angel Abbey in 1974
and was ordained to the priesthood in 1988. He earned an M.A. in Theology and a M.Div. in Pastoral Theology from Mount Angel Seminary in 1989. In 2000 he earned a Ph.D. in Catholic Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton in Ohio.
From 1988 until 2001, he was a member of the formation faculty of Mount Angel Seminary. During this time he held the positions of human formation director for eleven years, Director of Human Formation for four years, and Vice Rector of the Seminary for six years. During the 2000/2001 school year, he served as a Seminary Administrator during the interim between president-rectors. He was elected the tenth Abbot of Mount Angel Abbey in 2001 and held the position until 2009. During this period he was also Chancellor of Mount Angel Seminary.
He is member of the Saint Luke Production's Board of Directors and a member of the Mount Angel Abbey Emeritus Board.
Father Nathan is currently serving as Administrator of Portland's Saint Agatha Parish

Betty Caccamo - Preschool 1
Betty Caccamo has taught for over fourteen years, the last six at St. Agatha Catholic School. She has taken extensive Early Childhood Education classes and continues classes each year to expand her knowledge. The reason she became a teacher is for her love of children.
Jacque Steuernol - Preschool 2
Jacque Steuernol received her education a the University of Grenoble, France, and La Sainte Union College of Education, Southhampton, England, as well as ongoing early childhood seminars and workshops. She has taught for over seventeen years, the last six at St. Agatha Catholic School. The reason Mrs. Steuernol became a teacher was her interest in nurturing young children and assisting them in discovering the joy of learning and growing in their amazing and magical world. She loves spending time with her children and grandchildren; participating in the life of the church, and making time for occasional retreats at the local Trappist Abbey.

Jessie Archambeault - Kindergarten
Jessie Archambeault received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fiction Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. She earned her Master's degree in Elementary Education from Portland State University. Jessie has taught for over eight years, the last four at St. Agatha Catholic School. The reason she became a teacher is because of her passion for education, art and literature as well as her love of children. Jessie loves writing, dancing, reading, hiking, watching foreign films and spending time with her family.
Brandi Harris - First Grade
Brandi Harris graduated from the University of Portland in 2001 with her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She has been teaching first grade at St. Agatha Catholic School for nine years. She became a teacher because she has always enjoyed working with children. Before returning to school to acquire her teaching license, she taught preschool for eight years. Ms. Harris believes teaching young children is truly a blessing. Besides teaching, she LOVES her dogs and loves to help better the lives of animals in any way. Being able to teach her students about the importance of helping the world around them (humans and animals) makes coming to work each day a positive experience for her and her students.
Mary Anne Chee - Second Grade
Mary Anne Chee received her Bachelor of Arts and teaching credential from Notre Dame de Namur University and her early childhood endorsement from George Fox University. She has taught for over 23 years, the last four at St. Agatha Catholic School. The reason she became a teacher is that she wanted to help bring children closer to God and to help children grow academically, socially and emotionally. She loves doing mixed media art, reading, baking and spending time with her son, David, and husband, Greg.
Debbie Hushbeck - Third Grade
Debbie Hushbeck received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Oregon State University and a Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education from Concordia University. She has taught for over seven years, the last nearly two years at St. Agatha Catholic School. The reason Mrs. Hushbeck became a teacher was that after graduating from Oregon State University, she continued to wish she had chosen a degree in education. She returned to school to fulfil her dream of helping children develop into responsible, knowledgeable, and caring adults. She enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, tracing and recording her family history and spending time with her family.
Sara Dillon - Fourth Grade
Sara Dillon received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education for the University of Portland. She
has taught for six years at St. Agatha Catholic School, the last five being in fourth grade. After entering college as a history major, she realized her true calling was to become an elementary school teacher and share her love of history with her students. She loves traveling around Oregon, cooking, reading,
and going to Cannon Beach with her husband and two year old son, Jack.
Missy Knutson - Fourth Grade and Middle School Language Arts
Missy Knutson received her Master's in Elementary Education from City University and Her Bachelor
of Arts from the University of Portland. She has taught for over six years, the last five at St. Agatha Catholic School. The reason she became a teacher is because she loves working with kids. She loves reading, spending time with her family and playing with her dogs, Jack and Olive.
Laurie Johnsen - Fifth Grade
Laurie Johnsen received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Western Oregon State College, now Western Oregon University. She has taught for over twelve years, the last five at St. Agatha Catholic School. The reason she became a teacher is the feeling she gets when a frustrated student finally finds success and confidence in learning. She loves singing, hiking, cross-country skiing, and spending time with her husband and two children.
Carol Weber - Sixth Grade and Middle School Science
Carol Weber received her Bachelor of Science in Language Arts Secondary Education from Oregon State University, Administrative License from Portland State University, science endorsement, and MED from University of Portland. She has taught for over twenty years, the last four at St. Agatha Catholic School. Ms. Weber became a teacher because she loves kids and is passionate about sharing her love of science with others. She enjoys gardening, walking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Kris McCoy - Seventh Grade and Middle School Math
Kris McCoy received her Bachelor of Science in Math and Computer Science from Santa Clara University, and completed teacher education courses at Oregon State University. She has taught for over fifteen years, the last five at St. Agatha Catholic School. The reason she became a teacher is to show kids that math is more than computation. She loves sushi, music, puzzles, reading and spending time with her family.
Stacie Dunn - Eighth Grade and Middle School Social Studies
Stacie Dunn received a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from the Pennsylvania State University. She has taught for over eight years, the last two at St. Agatha Catholic School. The reason she became a teacher is because she fell in love with history in college and has always been an avid writer. Using these skills and interests to mold young minds seemed like a perfect fit. She loves hiking, biking, reading and spending time with her family and dog, Juniper.
Andy Metzler - Learning Support Center
Andy Metzler has been teaching as a classroom teacher and a specialist for 8 years in the Archdiocese of Portland. She is delighted to be joining the St. Agatha staff this year! Andy graduated from the University of Portland three times - once with a BA in History and German, once with a MAT in Elementary Education, and once with a certification in Special Education, grades K-12. The reason she became a teacher is that she is fascinated by all different kinds of creative thinkers and learners! When Andy is not at school, you can find her riding her bike around town, reading in her house, gardening in her yard, and visiting with friends.
Marlena Weaver - Technology
Marlena Weaver received her Bachelor's in Education with an Early Childhood/Elementary Education endorsement from Concordia University in Portland. She is currently working towards her Masters in Education, also at Concordia, to achieve her Health/PE endorsement, as well as, her Reading Endorsement. Before St. Agatha, she spent two years as a substitute in the public school system.
She is now in her fourth year as St. Agatha Catholic School's Physical Education and Technology teacher. Miss Weaver became a teacher to instill a love of lifelong learning and compassion for others within each and every one of her students. She also loves listening to a variety of music, playing
games, eating delicious food and spending quality time with her cats, friends and family.
Chris Heath teaches Music and has been with St. Agatha Catholic School for four years.

Christine Taylor - Art and Middle School Language Arts
Christine Taylor received her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix and her Bachelor's in Educatoin with an Art emphasis from the University of Hawaii. She has taught for over eight years in both public and Catholic schools. Mrs. Taylor became a teacher to foster in students a sense of pride and accomplishment no matter their abiltiy. She loves running, dancing, the ocean, being creative and spending tiem with her two sons, Noa and Nathan and her husband, Chris.
Dennis Kelley - Physical Education
Dennis Kelley, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, attended Butler Universtiy and graduate school at Concordia University. Prior to St. Agatha, Mr. Kelley taught for two years at St. Francis Academy and substituted for the Archdiocese the past two years. Mr. Kelley is endorsed in Physical Ed. K-12, and Social Studies 5th-9th grade. Mr. Kelley has coached CYO sports for twenty years. He has been a high school baseball coach, and played baseball at St. Joseph's College. Mr. Kelley enjoys attending athletic events with his wife, Timaree, and his two boys, Connor and Jack, who both attend Central Catholic High School.
