Lunch Services
Candy and soda pop are not allowed in school lunches.

Hot lunches may be purchased for $3.25 each, which includes milk. Lunches are pre-purchased, for specific
days, the previous month. Families that qualify may receive free or reduced cost lunches. Forms may
be picked up at the school office to determine family eligibility. Eligibility is kept confidential.

Milk Program
Milk is available at every lunch period.  It may be purchased for $0.35 per day, and is also pre-purchased
using the same preorder form.

Extended Care/Day Care
As a service to the parents of our students enrolled at St. Agatha Catholic School, the school operates an extended day care program. Care is offered to our preschool students until 3pm and for our K-8 students until 6pm. It is offered every full school day and most half-days. Care will not be offered on holidays, teacher
in-service days, Christmas vacation, Spring break or during the summer.  Please pay close attention to the school calendar and the Wednesday Weekly for notification of when care will not be available.

Because the extended care program is certified and inspected by the state of Oregon, it is important that all
families participating in this program understand the policies and procedures, which govern this program. 
All parents in this program must read and sign the last page of this handbook indicating they have read
and understand it.

Director/Staff Responsibilities
The school principal (Director), Jeff Delegato, is responsible for making sure the center is in compliance
with state regulations, maintains employee files, hires qualified staff and ensures that all employees have
undergone the criminal background check. The site director is responsible for training the staff and for
designing snacks and other program components. The Assistant Director, Betty Caccamo, is responsible
for assisting the Director. The head teacher is responsible, along with the other teachers, in planning the
daily activities. The students have access to many games, art projects, free play, as well as outside activities
(weather permitting).

Fees for Program
Parents are billed monthly for the hours used at our program. The hourly charge is $5.00 per hour and is billed
to the half hour. This charge includes an afternoon snack.  Bills are sent out monthly.

Late Charges: If you arrive to pick up your child after 6:00pm you will be charged an additional $5.00 per
MINUTE /per child. If you know you are going to be late, please call the school at (503) 234-5500 ext. 110,
to advise the staff person on duty.
